Itadaki Street Special is an electronic board game (similar to Monopoly, but without all the cheating). The Itadaki game continues with Dragon Quest and Super Mario characters. Released in Japan only, but there is rumour that this game may make it's way to North America. It would certainly be appreciated....

A spin-off title based on DQ8's Monster Arena battles. Similar to the Kenshim series, DQ battle road was released as a stand alone arcade-esque game. It has also been ported to Japanese cel phones.

"The battles take place in a coliseum and the monsters either can come from the game itself or cards the player can insert into the machine itself. The combat itself is very simple and only uses a two-button system. The machine gives the player a free card at the begining of a match.
