Pafu-Pafu is a running gag in the Dragon Quest titles wherby a bunny-girl (for a small fee) will sandwich your face in between her breasts abd then pushes them towards your face. What usually happens is that the girl turns out to be a guy, which makes it just a bit awkward afterwards. As you can imagine they are a little too risqé for North American release and were translated as 'puff-puff' or 'powderpuff' massages. In some instances they were removed completly. Here are some of the pafu-pafu locations in various DQ games.
In the GBC remake of Dragon Warrior I the pafu girl can be found near the bath in Kol. In the NES version she is just a woman who talks about the bath.
Visit Assaram at night (you will need to have a male in the lead). The woman near the enterance is a pafu-pafu girl. In the english version, she is a fortune teller who brings you in for the 'fortune'. We then see that it was a male that was massaging the hero. This makes sence in Japan but in English, it changes from fortune telling to massage. 2 for 1 sale?
In Chapter V, return to Monbaraba for the Pafu - Pafu massage. Enter the bar that is to the left of the dancing stage at night. On the second floor speak with the bunny girl in the second room. You must have a male in the lead and he must be alone. Not much happens but it's always fun ;)
Travel to the bar in the town of Longadeseo. You must have a male in the lead of the party.
