If you are like me, then you have no doubt noticed the plethora of Final Fantasy merchandise that is available, but have also noticed that the North American market offers little to no Dragon Quest merchandise.

In Japan however, DQ items are plentiful. Luckily with the advent of the internet, these items are becoming more and more available (Ebay and NCSX being personal favorites of mine), but unfortunately are generally expensive…

In Japan, there exists DQ action figures, plush toys, collectable figurines, bottle cap monsters, DQ stationary and stickers, soundtracks, card games, guidebooks and even fan-made magazines (Doujinshi), although it’s generally ‘mature’ in content… For a comprehensive list of all DQ merchandise, please refer to diasEquip.xls, a spreadsheet I am updating with the various merchandise.
